RENTAL CONDITIONS
The driver:
To rent, the driver designated in the contract must be over 21 years old. He/she must also have held a valid driving license for at least one year. This must be justified by original documents. If a second driver is requested. He/she must be present at the time of departure and present the original of his/her driving license as well as an identity card (for Moroccan residents) or a passport (for foreigners). Only drivers identified on the rental contract are authorized to drive the rented vehicle.
Duration:
The rental is granted for the duration specified in the contract unless an extension is granted by the lessor. In the absence of return, at the agreed deadline, the lessor reserves the right to take back the vehicle wherever it is located, at the lessee's expense.
Delivery / collection:
SHR CARS lets you choose where you want to pick up or return the vehicle (Airport, Hotels, Train Stations, etc.) subject to prior agreement.
Fuel :
Fuel is the responsibility of the renter. The car will be delivered with a level of fuel and returned with the same level, fuel left in the tank will not be refunded.
Payment/Deposit:
Payment can be made on site in cash (euro or MAD), by credit card (please note that payment by credit card incurs an additional commission of 4%), by secure online payment or by Swift transfer, Our rates include unlimited mileage, lubricants and vehicle maintenance, delivery / collection of the vehicle.
Our prices are expressed in Euros.
The deposit is required by pre-authorization on the bank card (the amount will be set according to the category of the car rented or desired) and will be canceled upon return of the car.
Online Payment:
Your Multi-channel payments are secured by the Interbank Payment Center (CMI) which offers a fully secure payment service.
The Consumer guarantees to SHR CARS that he has any authorizations that may be necessary to use the payment method chosen by him, when validating the Order Form.
In the event of payment by bank card, the provisions relating to fraudulent use of the means of payment provided for in the agreements concluded between the Consumer and the issuer of the card between the Company SHR CARS and its banking establishment apply.
Proof of transactions paid by bank card:
The data recorded by the CMI on the Multi-channel payment platform on behalf of SHR CARS constitutes proof of all commercial transactions between you and the company SGR CARS.
Insurance:
Vehicles are fully insured (tires are not included). However, for any damage other than theft of the vehicle, fire, broken glass, civil liability and persons transported (PAI), a non-redeemable capped excess remains the responsibility of the driver in the event that his partial or full liability is incurred. For any accident, vehicle damage is only covered upon production of an accident report within 24 hours.
The use of vehicles on unpaved roads (track) is prohibited except for 4x4s.
The driver is solely responsible for traffic offences and violations.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown not caused by the customer, the replacement car is insured by our agency!
In the event of an accident for which you are responsible, the replacement car will be billed to the customer with delivery costs!
In the event of an accident for which the customer is responsible, the transport of the damaged car by the tow truck is the responsibility of the customer!
It is strictly forbidden to drive our vehicles on the coast, seaside, and rivers, in this case and in the event of a breakdown and/or drowning or other damage caused to the vehicle the renter will be obliged to pay the entire amount of repair without any ceiling and the amount could reach the purchase amount of the vehicle, in these cases the excess will not be applicable.
Attribution of jurisdiction :
By express agreement, the court in the jurisdiction in which the registered office of the lessor is located shall have sole jurisdiction to hear any dispute relating to this contract. The lessor may, however, waive the benefit of this jurisdiction clause and bring proceedings before any competent court.
Refunds:
The rental amount is payable in advance for the entire rental period, and will not be refunded in the event of a reduction in the rental period.
The deposit, on the other hand, implies a firm commitment from both parties. The customer can cancel his reservation, and the deposit paid will not be refundable, but it will be a credit on your next reservation.
Furthermore, in the event of a flight cancellation due to a new health protocol due to the covid-19 epidemic put in place by the government, we inform you dear customers that what concerns the rental amount payable in advance for the entire duration or the deposit paid will not be refunded. On the other hand, it remains a credit valid forever and for any date.
Mandatory documents:
Driver's license
A driving license of at least 2 years without major offences. Holders of a UK driving license must present the card with photograph.
Identity document(s)
A valid ID (passport or ID card).
If your ID does not include or match your current address, you will also need to provide separate proof of address.
Deposit and Credit Card Information
ACCEPTED: American Express, Eurocard, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Debit Card
A minimum deposit of EUR 1000 and a maximum of EUR 10000 will be blocked on your account for the entire rental period. This deposit is a guarantee in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle. This amount will be automatically cancelled in the absence of theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this is not equivalent to the total amount of the excess liability indicated in the Insurance section.
Credit card(s) must be in the first and last name of the primary driver.
